How much will this project cost?

Design, environmental, survey and construction is funded by an $800,000 National Scenic Byways grant.

What are the project limits?

Planned project limits begin at King Road and proceed south to Nicholson Road. This includes a pullout on the west side of Swan Falls Road with parking and interpretive signs about the byway and the BPNCA.

The WHF has presented an alternative option which would relocate the project limits entirely within the BPNCA (the King to Nicholson limits provide for three of the five mile project within the BPNCA).

It is the WHF’s intention to ultimately provide pedestrian and bicycle facilities from Kuna all the way to Swan Falls Dam; however, this project’s reach is limited to what can be built with the available funds.
